4 squares

I punched out patterned paper with my square paper punch.  I layered the 4 pieces on black cardstock & then used dimensional dots to attach it to a white square card.  Before attaching the layer wrap the twill ribbon around the layer.  The words "It's Your Day" are from Mini Messages by Impression Obsession

Solid Flower Row

I stamped the Hero Arts Shadow Stamp III in pink ink on white cardstock.  I stamped the Savvy Solid Flower Row over top - inking the flower heads in pink & the stems in green.  I layered with a touch of New Leaf cardstock by Papertrey Ink.  I also used a Copic Marker to color the white silk ribbon by Papertrey Ink to match the green layer.  I cut the card base from Sweet Blush cardstock by Papertrey Ink & used patterned paper for the bottom half.
I used Liquid Pearls in Petal Pink for the centers of the flowers.

Perfect Solution!

I have always had issues with printing on heavy cardstock with my HP All in One Printer.  I recently did a little research on what type of printer is best for 110# cardstock which is what Papertrey Ink sells.  I was always getting paper jams in my HP & was afraid I would ruin it if I kept trying.  After reading a few forums & getting information from other stampers I found this great little printer does the trick.  It is the Canon iP2600!  I found out that the top feed printer is the best for heavy cardstock so that it does not have to go around the roller.  This is a direct feed & it works like a dream!  And the best news ever is the printer is only $30 at Wal-Mart.  I recently took on making 70 baby shower invitations & I ran each piece of cardstock thru the Canon without one problem!

Tiny Punch Flowers

The Kitchen Dot polka card is by AMuse Art Stamps.  I stamped the Long Grass by AMuse with green ink on white cardstock.  I punched out various shades of pink flowers with the five flower corner punch.  I used the Quickie Glue Pen to attach the flowers in the grass.  I added gems to 3 of the flowers.  I found a very pale pink sheer ribbon to finish off the card.

On white cardstock I stamped in green the Long Grass by AMuse.  The Mini Flower by AMuse is stamped in pink randomly thru the grass.  I used Wavy Happy Birthday words by Savvy Stamps.

This embossing folder is called Retro Diamonds by Quikcutz - I used a piece of Raspberry Fizz cardstock by Papertrey Ink & embossed only a portion of the pink layer with Retro Diamonds.

Homespun Greetings

This is a card class that I took at Archiver's on Friday.  We made these 4 cards & used the Cosmo Cricket Paper Pad called Material Girl.  The stamps we used are all from Unity Stamp Company.  I really enjoyed the class and yes, I bought my first set of lamp stamps!  Silly me, what will I do with a set of lamps?

BUT aren't they cute??

Happy Wedding!

I found this card in my stash & it has been there for years - I wondered why I had never used it?  I don't know for sure the stamp company because I don't own the stamp.  I think I was stamping at a friends house & made the card!

Michael's & Joann's Finds!

Yesterday I was at Michael's & Joann's & found a few new stamps that I thought were worth a buck!  Actually the i-cling by Studio G was something new that I had not seen & it was $2.49 for the damask background, everything else was a dollar.  I'm challenging myself to use each of these stamps before I file them away in a drawer.  Watch my blog for my progress on that challenge!
**  There are 9 stamps in this picture.

The Hostess with the Mostess...

The Hostess stamp by AMuse Art Stamps is an old favorite.  You can stamp whatever you want on her tray.  I put a small package (Stamps by Judith) on the tray.  The Happy Birthday words are rub-ons.  The patterned paper is called 5th Avenue by Making Memories.  I punched out the stamp image with a Marvy rectangle scallop punch

Cosmo Bella Notes!

I had a friend that asked me to make these cards for her to give as a hostess gift.  She wanted 12 of them for her friend to use as invitations.  Her friend is a blonde, Cosmobella type of gal so these are perfect!

I used Raspberry Fizz & New Leaf cardstock by Papertrey Ink to make the card base.  I embossed the fronts of the cards with the Cuttlebug D'Vine Swirls Embossing Folder on the pink cards & the Cuttlebug Spots & Dots Embossing Folder on the green cards.  If you click on the picture to make it bigger you will see I added gemstones to her flip flops!

I had this great card box that I decorated and 12 cards & envelopes fit in here just perfect.  The box came from Taylored Expressions.  I stamped Girlfriends Forever & punched it out with a Marvy Circle Scallop punch.

I used patterned papers from my paper pad Bitty Dot Basics by Papertrey Ink to decorate the box & added Raspberry Fizz ribbon.

I left the inside flap blank so that my friend can write her own personal message to the person she is giving the cards to.

This is a punch I recently purchased called EK Success Daisy Chain.  I used it to decorate the box & made both pink & green rows of daisies to jazz up the box!
