Remember Vippies??

A few of you will remember the stamp company called Vippies.  Most of their images are stick figures.  Check out their website here.  These are a few Fall cards that I made several years ago.

Girls Night Out!

Girls Night Out by My Favorite Things was a quick & fun card to make.  I paper pieced both of the gals shirts & the table top.  I was able to find patterned paper for the bottom part of the card.  It's a black & tan theme with the perfect red wine to toast!

One of my favorite places...

I was at Archiver's earlier this week for a Free Card Idea class.  It was a great one hour session where they gave you 70 ideas for Holiday card making.  They were able to show a few samples & give you lots of ideas complete with a color handout to take home!  One of my favorite places to shop is Archiver's so I was inspired to make this card.  The stamp set is called Gifty Girl by My Favorite Things

Place cards for Garden Party

I printed out all the names on the computer & then stamped the flourish at the top with Dark Brown Chalk Ink.  I found brown patterned paper by Mix & Mingle to make the tent & attached the names to that paper.  I think they look classy!  The flourish is from Stampin' UP - Frames with a Flourish.

Still Lovin' this set so much...

Are you getting tired of seeing this stamp set on my blog?  Lovin' From The Oven by My Favorite Things is most definitely one of my favorite things!  I made this card for a Fall birthday.  I had fun using the colors of Fall for this November birthday.
The Photo Labels Large Punch was perfect for the words from TPC Cupcakes (see below)

This display board was at my local Archiver's store.  All the staff at the store in West Des Moines made Christmas cards & they are having a contest where people vote on their favorite card.  They have some creative ideas so I thought I would share.  Anyone started on Christmas cards yet??

Sending you sunshine

Doreen & I made these cards for our card sale a few years ago.  It is a nice greeting for someone that is under the weather.  I couldn't find the stamp on the AMuse website, so maybe it has been retired?

Thinking of You

This card was made using Through the Trees by Papertrey Ink.  I stamped the tree image with white ink & white embossing powder on black paper.  The birds were stamped on white paper with red ink & then I cut them out & used dimensionals to attach them to the card.  This card reminds me of winter which is how it is starting to feel!

The trees stamp is by Northwoods Rubber Stamp Company.  I stamped the trees with brown ink & clear embossing powder on ivory cardstock.  The words Thank you for Everything & The Shimmer Couture Damask cardstock in Mango is from AMuse Art Stamps.  The paper has a shimmer to it that you may not be able to see in my picture.  Another fall theme...

Thanks a latte...

Here is a super Simple thank you card for your coffee drinking friends.  I stamped the To Go Cup by AMuse Arts Stamps on another piece of white cardstock, colored it with markers & then cut it out.  I attached it with dimenstional dots & stamped the words.  I included a gift card from Starbucks for a friend & this was the perfect card!

Coach!

This Leopard Lady looks like she was shopping at the Coach store!  I downloaded the Coach logo & printed it on ivory cardstock.  I stamped the Gifty Girl's bag over top of the logo & I was ready to color & paper piece!  I love the colors of Fall & thought the leopard print dress was a nice touch!  I was super excited to find the little leopard embellishments during my visit to the Archiver's store at the Mall of America in Minneapolis!
This stamp set is called Gifty Girl by My Favorite Things.  It is not currently on their website but I have been told they are going to be restocking it very soon!!

With Thanks...

This is one of the first stamp sets that I bought from Papertrey Ink called Little Lady.  And this one too was among the first.  I noticed on Nicole's Blog they were revisiting old favorites so I thought I would too!  No Buckeye post  because we have a bye this week!

Gifty Girl!

Happy Birthday Susan & Belated Happy Birthday to Doreen!  I didn't want to put any pictures on the blog until after Susan's birthday because I did the cards very similar - sorry Doreen!  I had so much fun paper piecing these Talbot's Shoppers!  I was able to download the Talbot's logo off the internet.  I ran the logo thru the printer on ivory cardstock & stamped the shopping bag over top of the logo.  The stamp is Gifty Girl by My Favorite Things.  I used my Stampin' Up scalloped edge border punch to make the awning.  I really love when I can personalize my cards to make them more special!  Both Doreen & Susan shop at Talbot's so I thought it would be perfect for both of them!!

For Doreen's card, I used an embossing folder to emboss the front of the card.
And for this card, I paper pieced the dress & the shopping bags.  I stamped "enjoy" on the one bag.
I really went crazy with the paper piecing on this card.  I even paper pieced the wall behind her, as well as the dress & the shopping bags.  Gifty Girl is another new favorite of mine!!

This simple thank you card was made with two AMuse Art Stamps.  The Thank You for Everything & the Eucalyptus stamps.  I stamped & embossed the leaf on three different colors of paper.  The colors of the paper give the card a Fall look don't you think?
