Buttons...

Laura was inspired by this card done by Kristina Werner on her card video here.
I love the colors that Laura used on this card.  The pretty striped patterned paper and a few buttons made a darling little thank you card!

Winterberry Wreath

I used Winterberry Wreath stamp by Memory Box for these cards.  The patterned papers are also by Memory Box.  I used gems on one of the wreaths & the other one I used a copper pen to color in the berries.  I made these wreaths more fallish but you could change it up & use it for the holidays as well.

Pie In A Jar...

I saw this recipe on a blog & for some reason I wanted to give it a try.  Who wouldn't want pie in a jar - in the freezer & ready to go into the oven and within an hour - PIE!  Notice IPad on the counter - makes it easy to see the recipe & read the directions!
I took all the short cuts - in the recipe it mentions that you can make your own crust - I bought Pillsbury!  You can also use fresh fruit etc - I bought a can of cherry & a can of peach pie filling to keep it simple.

With the two pie crusts I was able to line 8 jars.  I did 5 cherry & 3 peach.
8 little jars of yummy ready to go into the freezer!
Of course we had to try them - here is peach pie in a jar.  It just came out of the oven & one scoop of ice cream on it made for a perfect little dessert!
And cherry pie in a jar!  They were delish!  And there are 6 more in the freezer waiting for us!  Here is the website where I found the recipe.  Click here

Great Match!

I have been working on a few Valentine Cards over the last week.  Laura gave me this darling clipboard for Christmas and look it sort of matches one of my cards!  Red, black & white are a favorite color combination of mine!  I'll start making a list of cards that I need to make on my fancy clipboard!

I'm officially a gun owner.......

Are you ready to see my gun?

It is a big pink gun...

I'm going to be starting a big project making invitations for my parent's upcoming 50th Wedding Anniversary.  Many card makers have told me that they love this tape runner.  I bought it at Michael's with a coupon.

Here are the details:

Scotch ATG Applicators quickly and neatly apply Scotch and 3M branded adhesive transfer tapes. A touch of the trigger releases the adhesive and liner for quick, controlled application of tape. No mess or clean-up. Saves time and effort. This ATG applicator applies adhesive transfer tape while simultaneously removing and rewinding the liner. The liner is captured on a secondary spool, leaving only the adhesive on the surface. The Scotch ATG Adhesive Applicator Gun is perfect for all of your scrapbooking and paper projects. Each package includes one ATG Applicator Gun, 2 rolls of ¼” tape - 72 yards total and also features:

•Covered gears minimize applicator jams
•Transparent cover allows the user to keep a constant check on remaining tape
•Holds up to 60 yards of Scotch Adhesive Transfer Tape
•For use with ¼” Scotch ATG Tapes
•3M will donate a portion of the proceeds to Susan G Komen Foundation.

Wedding...

I'm really pulling things out of the archives!  Dona made this card a few years ago for a wedding that her daughter was attending.  The colors are simple but very classy.  She added a little bit of glitz to the wedding dress.  The stamp is by Endless Creations, Inc.

Happy Birthday Cards!

Dona made these cards using a Quickutz Happy Birthday die cut.  She used Papertrey Ink cardstock for the base of all the cards in various colors.  She used Cuttlebug embossing folders on 3/4 of the card & completed the card with great ribbons!  These are great cards to have in your stash for a quick birthday greeting!!

January Calendar

It has been driving me crazy that I didn't have a calendar by my computer yet for 2011!  I got this idea from my sister in law, Laura to use a different AMuse shop or store for each month.  I already had all the months stamped & mounted on black paper but I didn't have the coloring done.  I colored the first 4 months so I didn't have to do them all at once.  I love the Brownstone for January!
