I made this super quick birthday card with a favorite color combination of Bermuda & Cherry.

Amuse|studio's stamp set Charming Gardeners is a beautiful floral.  I had not colored the flowers with red & I was pleased with the vibrant outcome.

I got this idea from an ATG swap that I received at amuse|studio Conference.  I used amuse studio's Enjoy the Ride stamp set along with the Chevrons background.

Easter Gum Packs

I just love how these gum packs turned out.  Won't they be so cute in Easter baskets? 

All supplies by amuse|studio:

Cardstock:  Base of wrapper – Cut 6 ¼” x 3 ¾”

Score on the long side at 2 ¼”, 2 ½”, 5”, 5 ¼”

White Layer – 3” x 2 ¼”

Pattern Layer – 2 ½” x 2”

Oval Nestability

Directions: Cut each of the pieces shown above. Score base of wrapper as instructed above. Use circle punch to punch out a half circle before taping the base of the gum wrapper.
Decorate as you wish for any occasion! Birthday Party, Halloween, Easter…

These file folders from Target are so amuse|studio Venetian pattern!  I couldn't resist buying them - they will be perfect in my stamp room!

Anyone else with me?

Ok so, you just made a great card & you are ready to put the perfect sentiment on it to finish it up but you aren't sure what you have or if it will be the right size for the space on your card.  Or does this only happen to me?  I recently put together a Word Binder with all the sentiments that are in various amuse|studio stamp sets that I own.  Many times when I'm making a card I wonder what sentiment might work and this helps me so much.  I put together categories & then I stamped the words on the paper.  I used 8.5 x 11 pieces of cardstock & three hole punched them & put them in a binder that is near my crafting desk.  I have to say I absolutely love this & use it all the time!

A super quick & simple thank you card.  I used amuse|studio Titian solid cardstock for the base of the 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" square card.  I love this size of card & it still fits nicely in the regular A2 envelope.  I stamped with Lido Ink on a piece of sugar cardstock using a favorite of mine - Marvelous Marigolds stamp set.  The sentiment is from Contemporary Greetings & is stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa Ink.  I added the French Roast Twill ribbon, I love the width of this ribbon & the fact that it is not stiff, just silky soft & easy to tie in a knot!  The vanilla pearl in the center of the flower completes the card.   

Candy Box Die

Look at the cute little boxes made using amuse|studio's Candy Box Die!  Here the box was decorated with washi tape & looks so spring like!  It would be perfect for Easter treats.  There are so many options with this die set.  The finished box is about the size of a deck of playing cards.   

The 8 shapes shown are also included with the Candy Box Die & Cutout Set. There are a few shapes in the candy box cutouts that can be tricky to remove from the die after cutting - such as the spider and party hat. Simply place a piece of wax paper between the die and your cardstock, then die cut as usual. The wax paper should allow the cut shape to pop right out when you push it out through the opening in the die after cutting.

Card Swap!

I recently participated in a Card Swap with fellow amuse|studio Creative Consultants!  Our challenge was to use something out of the new catalog.  I was excited to receive all of these wonderful cards in the mail.  These are a great addition to my samples that I can show customers.  Look at all the creative things you can do with our new stamps!!

Clothesline full of card ideas...

I took this picture at amuse|studio Conference in New Orleans in January.  Amuse Studio came up with a darling way to display all the sample cards on the little clothesline with the mini clothespins!  I was inspired by so many of these cards & I thought you might be too!
