I'd Never Forget...

This card idea came from Page 53 of the 2012 amuse|studio Catalog & Inspiration Guide. Our new Under the Big Top stamp set has this cute little elephant stamp in it. I started out with our pebble cardstock for the card base. I stamped the elephant first with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I then masked the elephant's feet & stamped the platform he is standing on followed by the oval shadow under the platform. I used a design from Mod Backgrounds 2 & stamped in orange on sugar cardstock for the head dress & blanket & then paper pieced them on the elephant.

I had fun playing with the new stamp set by amuse|studio called ahhnouncing! I started with a kraft cardbase & added layers of vanilla cardstock stamped with the script background using toffee ink. I used the sponge daubers for inking with french roast & toffee inks. I also added the scalloped border of french roast woodgrain. The French Roast twill works well with these colors.

I was inspired to make this card because of page 63 in the New amuse|studio catalog & inspiration guide. If you haven't seen our amazing new catalog, please let me know because you are missing out! I love this little bird cage! Originally I had colored the bottom part of the bird cage but I wasn't happy with the colors I picked, so an easy solution was to paper piece the polka dot paper over top of my bad coloring!

Butterfly Card

The new amuse|studio Papillon stamp set is so life like. The butterflies are just beautiful. I'm not really a butterfly gal, but I think these butterflies are amazing! I started out with a Titian solid cardstock cut to 4 bar size (3 1/2" x 5"). I stamped the butterfly on sugar cardstock with versafine onyx ink & clear embossing powder. I colored the butterfly with Copic Markers. I added a small layer of bellini solid cardstock to the butterfly. I put a strip of Bellini Venetian patterned paper across the card for an accent. I was also very excited to use my new Vintage Labels 1 die set. I die cut the smallest of the shapes & made it into a ribbon slider. I really love how this turned out. The 1/4" sheer organdy ribbon worked great! The Happy Birthday words are from the stamp set Love Machines.

Floral Duet is a Fav!

I saw this card idea at amuse|studio Conference & I was anxious to give it a try! I started out with the base of the card being Titian in the Venetian Pattern. I stamped the Floral Duet flowers (both small & large) on our Sleepy Hallow text cardstock. I used Versafine Onyx ink & clear embossing powder. I like to emboss things that I'm cutting out because it makes it easier to follow the line of the flower. I manipulated the flowers so that the petals would curl a bit. I stamped the Happy Birthday words from Graceful Greetings with Cherry Ink on Sugar cardstock. I added a cherry layer of cardstock & attached the strip across the card. I attached the big flower with glue dots & the small flower is attached with a dimensional.

Card Fronts for Swap at Convention!!

All the amuse|studio Consultants that are going to Convention wanted to swap card fronts with each other. I was busy last week getting my swaps ready to go! I was so happy to be able to use 3 of the new colors of solid & patterned cardstock in the Venetian Palette. Here you see all the pieces & parts that are ready to be assembled.

I really had fun with this Hey Cupcake stamp set lately! I love all the color combinations that look so beautiful together. This is a new solid color cardstock called Pistachio. It looks awesome with the Venetian Titian pattern and I thought the Grapefruit Heart was the perfect touch for a February birthday recipent!

Did you hear that Amuse Studio's new catalog is coming out on February 1st? As a Consultant we have been given an opportunity to Pre-Order a few things from the new catalog. My order came last week & I have had a little bit of time to play with the new stuff. Here is a sneak peek at a new Patterned paper that amuse|studio is coming out with in our New Catalog! This new cardstock is the Venetian Titian Pattern and I'm in love ♥ ♥ with this color. It is sort of a brownish/olive green & it coordinates with so many colors. I'm using a new solid color cardstock as well called Grapefruit, that will become part of our Winter Palette.

I always struggle with pictures of my cards. Go figure that one of the best photos that shows the colors perfectly was taken with my phone! You might even be able to tell that I stamped a woodgrain pattern on the butterfly die cut. Normally those details do not show up in my photos.

I had a chance to use this new stamp set by amuse|studio called Charming Gardeners. It is a beautiful floral that allows you to really get creative with your Copic Markers and blend away!

The cardstock that I used is patterned Venetain & solid in the new color called Lido.

Love me some Lido!

Sneak Peek #1! Grapefruit & Bellini & Titian...

I have really been having fun with this new stamp set called Hey Cupcake by amuse|studio! The options are endless. I love our new Venetian Patterned papers. I stamped the cupcake liner on Titian with Versafine Onyx ink. I cut it out & scored the lines on the cupcake liner. By folding the scored lines I was able to make it sort of a 3D cupcake liner which turned out pretty awesome. I just used some Tombow Mono Adhesive glue to attach the ends to the Sugar cardstock. In order to give the frosting a little bit of dimension I stamped & cut out 5 of the frosting stamps & then glued them all together to make a chipboard like image. Our new Grapefruit Pink cardstock is a nice combination & the Venetian Bellini Pattern gave it the extra pop I was looking for! I added a bit of Diamond Glitter to the frosting and some ribbon & I have a cute birthday card ready to go!

Cute Ornament Gifts...

I made a couple of cute ornaments with these large bottle caps. I printed the pictures in black & white so it was pretty simple. I inserted the photo in the cap & used my crop-o-dile to punch two holes at the top to run the ribbon thru for the hanger. The words I used are amuse|studio Holiday Wishes Inside & Out and I used a decorative punch to add a little jazz to the topper.

I got this card idea from an online Gift making class that I took recently. It was so much fun to make to make this Mini Bag Slider. I started out with an ATC white mini bag that will hold the gift card perfectly. When you pull on the bow at the top the gift card slides out to be revealed. It is pretty cool! I stamped snowflakes from various stamp sets that I own to decorate the bag. The words are from amuse studio called Holiday Greetings Inside & Out.

I have been busy getting ready for a Holiday Dinner Party that we will be hosting this weekend. I fussed with the table decorations all week but was super pleased with the way these menus turned out. I think the table setting will be perfect for a group of

John Deere friends! I printed out the menu on white cardstock & then used the

Memory Box Deer Trio Die. I added sparkle with Diamond Stickles with a bit of snow at their feet & little more on their antlers.
